We are looking for someone who wants their work to matter; someone who wants to swap a cubicle for the shores of Lake Karapiro and a spreadsheet for a mission that changes lives.

The Role: Operations Manager
As our Operations Manager, you are the heartbeat of the camp’s daily rhythm. You aren’t just sitting in an office; you are on the ground, leading a vibrant team of young people and ensuring every guest has a seamless experience.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Leading with Heart: Mentoring and growing a team of young instructors, working alongside them to sharpen their skills and spirit.
- The Master Planner: Creating innovative programs and rosters that challenge and excite guests of all ages.
- Quality Control: Ensuring our daily activities, food service, and accommodation are “good to go” and up to our world-class standard.
- Jumping into the Fray: Filling gaps in the instructor team by leading an activity session when needed—you’re never too senior to get your hands dirty.
- Hosting: Being the welcoming face of Finlay Park for our various groups and stakeholders.
Who You Are
We are looking for a high-energy leader who thrives in a dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same. You’ll be a great fit if you are:
- A Natural Leader: You love working with young adults and have a passion for seeing them grow in confidence and faith.
- Logistically Minded: You are a pro with Excel and rostering tools; you see a scheduling puzzle and love to solve it.
- Physically Active: You are fit, energetic, and ready to keep up with the demands of an outdoor adventure environment.
- A Solid Communicator: You can talk to anyone, from a nervous 8-year-old on a high-ropes course to a school principal or a corporate guest.
- Mission-Aligned: You share our passion for the Gospel and want to use your professional skills to serve a higher purpose.
